Burger King Promos

Pokemon Burger King cards are a series of collectable cards produced in the United States by Burger King as part of their various promotions. The set was produced in 1999 and consists of twelve different cards featuring various Pokemon characters. Each card has a full color image of the creature with a back listing the abilities and statistics specific to each one. The set is divided into two groups: starter cards, which feature Pikachu and six other Pokemon from the original set, and advanced cards, offering Chikorita and five others from the second generation.

The cards are only available at participating Burger King locations and typically come as part of a combo meal. Customers must enter a code found on the packaging to redeem a particular card. The rarest card of the set is the Dark Charizard card, which was given out to customers who entered codes from two different combo meals.
