About Sun & Moon
Pokémon Sun & Moon is the first expansion set of cards for the Pokémon Trading Card Game based on the sixth generation of the popular Pokémon video game series. This set was first released in February 2016 and is composed of over 140 cards. It includes new Pokémon, items, energy types, and other game mechanics to provide a more exciting and strategic gaming experience.
The set is based upon the Kalos region, which introduces some of the most beloved Pokémon of this generation, such as Greninja, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Sylveon. This set also introduces some of the most powerful Pokémon-EX and Mega Pokémon-EX cards ever created, including Primal Kyogre-EX, Primal Groudon-EX, and Rayquaza-EX.
