Great Encounters

The Pokemon Trading Card Game: Great Encounters expansion set was released in early 2008. The set consists of 109 cards each with an expanded total of 76 different Pokemon and 60 Trainer Cards. This set was the first to feature the new Diamond & Pearl Pokemon from the Sinnoh region and includes several all-time fan favorite Pokemon.

Pokemon featured in Great Encounters include Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Luxray, and Magmortar. All are featured on rare cards along with many other pokemon in the set. Each card in the set contains different games and battle play mechanics to generate a unique gaming experience.
