Unleashed

Pokémon Unleashed is a card set released in 2008 by the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It consists of 141 cards, including 13 Holo cards and 30 Prime cards. The set marks the advent of two new card types to the game: G Booster cards, which provide additional effects when attached to certain Pokémon, and Battle Frontier cards, which increase the power of a Pokémon or move by a set amount.

The set is organized around the theme of empowering your Pokémon. Most of the set consists of Pokémon cards, both Common and Uncommon, including the likes of Aggron, Blaziken and Tyranitar. What's more, it also contains a large number of Trainer cards and Energy cards to help power them up. The Trainer cards come in the form of Supporters, which provide various ways of affecting the game state, and Stadium cards, which boost the power of certain types of Pokémon. The set also features a large number of Special Energy cards, which are powerful but require discarding of other cards to use.
