Triumphant

The Pokémon Trading Card Game – Triumphant is the sixty-first expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and was released in 2009. This expansion is similar to other older sets, as it consists of 106 cards, and contains multiples of each card. The Triumphant set draws its inspiration and imagery from many of the classic Generation IV Pokemon Games and introduces seven new Pokemon-EX into the card game. This set also includes the introduction of trick room, a powerful new trainer card which allows the player to change the order of their opponents turns, creating a strategic advantage. In addition, it includes various fan-favorite Pokémon such as a Charizard-EX, Ho-Oh-EX, and a Machamp-EX card. The Triumphant set also includes cards with powerful abilities like Hard Dive, which allows the player to discard their hand in order to draw 4 new cards. With all of these new cards, players have access to more strategic options and exciting new decks. Triumphant also brings back classic cards such as the Elite Trainer Deck Builder's Tool Kit, special rulebook and many rare cards that can help players build their perfect deck.
